It is my pleasure to welcome you to Red Level High School for the 2020-2021 school year.
With all the uncertainties we have faced this year, we are beyond excited to begin the school year with a traditional and virtual setting. The modifications and guidelines that have been put in place have called for more patience, consideration and cooperation from our students, parents, staff and faculty. The RLHS family has always and will continue to rise to the challenge, turn negatives into positives and continue to press ahead. In these unprecedented times, we need stability, consistency and an attitude that encourages learning.
Education is extremely important to my family. I am fortunate to count many family members past and present as teachers and their service is a tremendous source of pride for me. My wife, Karen, is a retired teacher with 28 years experience and still works part time with Covington County School students. Our son, Marshall, and daughter, Holley, are also teachers.
Through the years, I have held fond memories of those who influenced my life in a positive way. They were family, bosses, colleagues and teachers. The characteristics I now realize they all possessed were they each genuinely cared for me, and were all kind, consistent and fair. Our staff and faculty strive to influence our students in the same manner.
Please feel free to come by school, call 334-469-5315 or email with any questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to seeing you this year.
